Eve Dawber
Committee Treasurer, Animal Welfare
Eve is the lead in all things animals at Gamrie Gardens, overseeing health, care, and administration.
Dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all creatures within the gardens, Eve ensures every animal receives the best possible care while creating environments where each species can thrive and flourish.
With a deep love for animals and a practical approach, Eve works closely with the team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all creatures on the land, big or small.
Holding a degree in biology, Eve also acts in an advisory role regarding habitat and biosystems, bringing her expertise to ensure the gardens' ecosystems are balanced and sustainable.
In addition to her role with the animals, Eve serves as the Committee Treasurer.
While she prefers working with animals and numbers to people and speeches, her comfort with both allows her to manage the finances of Gamrie Gardens with the same care and attention she gives to the animals.

Florence Popoff
Committee Secretary & Lead Gardener
Flo spends most of her time in the garden - working with the land as it shifts through the seasons.
As Lead Grower at Gamrie Gardens, she oversees the market garden, orchard, flowers, woodland, and everything in between. Her mission? To cultivate a thriving, regenerative landscape that welcomes and nourishes all who visit or call it home, whether they walk, crawl, fly, or take root.
As Committee Secretary, she also keeps things running behind the scenes - organizing volunteers, managing communications, and ensuring the day-to-day operations support the long-term vision. If you reach out to Gamrie Gardens, chances are, you’ll hear from her.
With years of experience growing food across different climates and landscapes, Flo brings both hands-on expertise and relentless curiosity to her work. Currently immersed in an Organic Food mentorship program with The Soil Association, she’s working toward organic certification for the Gamrie Gardens Market Garden and launching a CSA food box subscription.
She’s always experimenting - exploring soil health, propagation, regenerative design, and self-sustaining systems. For her, growing food isn’t just about the harvest; it’s about creating ecosystems that thrive for generations, where land and people grow together.
